MagiCom - Microland Co-operation

Business challenge - Microland (India) and MagiCom (Hungary) have been providing IT services independent of each other to a Global Company for several years. While the focus of MagiCom was to provide on-site services in Eastern Europe, Microland has a strong remote service capability for global coverage. Due to souring optimization the customer decided to consolidate global service. Microland and Magicom decided to build on the strength of the two companies and the excellent client delivery and relationships to provide a unified solution to the customer.

Synergic impact
MagiCom and Microland were able combine forces and provide a win-win situation to the customers and to themselves. Microland with its remote centers in Asia and MagiCom with Eastern European presence were able to provide round the clock and same time-zone delivery for the Global Customer. The two teams continue to work as one team, delivering continuously high services levels to the Global Customer.

Services Provided
The joint teams of MagiCom and Microland provide wing-to-wing network infrastructure related services ranging from site surveys to support, including audit, design, technology consultation, build, implementation, monitoring, optimization and documentation for several hundreds of sites in Europe.

The team
The team consists of network specialists from Level 1 to Level 4, with 100% certifications in the respective technologies.

Business impact
With the successful collaboration  of MagiCom and Microland the customer gets the advantages of working with one vendor contractually, while getting the benefits of both near-shore and offshore services.  Both companies have extensive experience with the Global Company, allowing for service continuity in the new arrangement.
